Set of Windsor rod-back side chairs w/ bamboo turned parts. Straight round top rail w/ parallel lower rail connected by three short rods. Round stiles flare out from seat to top rail and enclose seven flaring rods. Flat seat w/ shaped sides and incised and painted striping. Single stretchers on all four sides. Round legs slightly splayed. Entire chair painted yellow-brown and striped in dark brown inside bamboo turnings. "D. Abbot & Co." impressed under seat of chairs; chalk(?) initials "EC" written under seat on three chairs.
