Description

Buff-colored clay body w/ deep brown mineral glaze. Bennington/ Rockingham type. Molded body. High modified cylindrical form, w/ faintly faceted body tapering slightly to circular mouth w/ deep flange to receive lid (missing). Rounded at bottom w/ three-part footring. Applied molded C-shaped handle w/ leafy spur. Shaped spout w/ central banding. Body w/ Mandarin figures in relief. (Maker's mark or signature smeared into glaze on bottom).
