Egg-shaped basket made of woven splints and grass, with two bands of dark braided grass. The basket has a hinged lid reinforced by rims made with wicker. A metal ring latch is attached at the front of the lid and there is a hole in the top where yarn or string kept inside the basket could exit during knitting. A large round wicker handle, made to fit over the wrest, is attached to the top. There are two balls of yarn, one pink and one white.
