Rectangular boards comprise top, bottom, front, and back. Hinged domed lid covered with leather and decorated with brass tacks. Wrought iron handles with kidney-shaped backplates. Interior lined w/ wallpaper and printed label reads, "FOSTER AND BARTON/ SADDLE CAP AND TRUNK/ MANUFACTURERS/ NO. 15,/ MARLBOROUGH STREET/ BOSTON."
