Description

Chair is in Chippendale style with yoke crest that has blunt molded ears. Arch at crest center with ellipse cut-out below. Pierced vasiform splat with drapery and tassel above diamond overlaid by figure eight. Replaced slip seat cover with green wool. Elaborate leaf and scroll carved cabriole front legs ending in five-toed hairy claw and ball foot. Rectangular rear legs flare out near floor. Similar splat and crest to 1966.294.A-F
