Description

Body (a) has deep ovoid form with canted corners and ovoid foot. Body with molded feather and rope band at mouth, broken by fanlight and acanthers motif. Molded eagle's head and handles at sides. Decorative bands and handles painted a deep blue. Bottom is stamped with '10'. Cover (b) is conforming domed lid with oval mushroom-like handle. Edge, neck, and finial with conforming molded decoration. Edge cut-out present for receiving a ladle.
