Description

Chippendale form with scrolled cresting and skirt. Identical ears at each parametal corner. Wooden surround for glass made up of single mahogany veneered mitred double cavetto molding, inner cavetto painted brown over veneer. Vertical brace on center rear crest. Pine used in backboard and beneath veneer of glass enframement, 6 rectangular pine glue blocks. Mahongany is course grained except for lower crest which is probably replaced.
