Description

Chippendale transitional style. Arched crest with crudely carved sharp ears. Vase and cylinder turned rear stiles centering solid vasiform splat on splat rail. Replaced rush seat with chamfered rectangular front seat rail socket joint. Turned front legs have short vase at top, half ball foot, ball and spool turned front stretcher. Paired dowel stretchers at sides, single at rear. Refinished red-brown stain, evidence of green.
