Description

Trunk. Wood, canvas, tin. Rectangular body with flat hinged lid. Wood carcass covered with black canvas. Pine and tin strapwork reinforced, with base metal mounts at corners and leather straps. Leather handles at sides. Small brown diapered printed paper lining. Interior tray is missing. Newburyport Railway Express Co. labels on top. Note: contains unused partial rolls of late 19th-early 20th century wallpapers (unaccessioned).
