Description

Queen Anne transitional style. Yoke crest thru pinned to tennon of rear stile. Vasiform splat on plain rail. Replaced rush seat with chestnut seat rails and corner blocks. Vase, ring and block turned front legs with Spanish feet. Ball and reel turned front stretcher, paired double swell and ring turned side stretchers, dowel at rear, all of chestnut. Refinished with brown stain. Splat and elements below seat very similar to 292.1981.
