Description

Reproducation of a ca. 1725-1800 type cradle. Arched hood has 3 angled panel top. Sides have serpentine cut-out at juncture with hood. Foot has arched and double lobed shaped edge. Bottom board overhang has simple chamfered edge. Unusually heavy (3"x4") brace under center of base. Nail construction throughout. Blue-grey paint appears to be only layer of finish. Patina under base not sufficient for period piece.
