Possibly an early 20th century reproduction. Bonnet top shaped with 3 angled panels, arched enframement at front dovetailed onto side boards. Simple arch cut-out on side under bonnet. Arch topped foot board dovetailed onto sides. Headboard is nailed. Thin serpentine rockers attached by screws through interior floor also with later bracing. Cut-outs in rockers appear to be for a long brace, but where this could have been attached to underside is not apparent. Fanciful imitation grain, painted fans, stripes and other designs in orange-brown on yellow ground. Blue interior.
