Description

Part of nested platter set. Ovoid grey/white body with deep concave well. Rim and cavetto with Nanking style border consisting of well-defined underglaze blue cross-hatched band and spearhead border outlined in gilt. Gilt edge and banding. Central overglazed gilt, blue and black enamel decoration of pseudo armorial crest consisting of ermine drapery enclosing a shield with cypher "AQ". Flat bottom.
