Pair of Regency-style side chairs, beech wood; caned seats; carved splat; lower cross bar supported by scroll work; center splat is stylized foliate scroll with acanthus leaf bottom and flower projecting from the middle; on the crest is an applied brass fleur de lis pattern; back legs are klismos-shapedl; front legs are tapered, cylindrical, with gadrooning and "bulb" at top; stiles are klismos-shaped and end at chair crest in a small scroll and are finished with a "brass floral applique; both seats have fabric-covered pads.
