Description

White clay body w/ colorless "white" glaze w/ slightly celadon tint. Oval shape w/ slightly dished and canted rim and a corresponding oval well. Overglaze enamel polychrome decoration in the rose palette featuring gilt ground w/ butterflies at central reserve. Quartered by scenic reserves, two w/ mandarin court scenes and two w/ birds and floral motif.
