Description

Linen table scarf made of fine damask with pictorial decoartion. Outer border is decorated with stripes and scrolled leaves that enclose scene. Pictorial scene depicts two panels where cherub leads a lion and one panel where the cherub is riding the lion. There is an oval medallion in the center that depicts a classical warrior in a chariot pulled by two doves who are led by another cherub. The initials "MT" are embriodered in one corner.
