A) Cylindrical briar bowl w/ knob carved w/ 3 leaf and scroll garlands at top of bowl; at top of knob and end of stem. Carved heraldic ornament on front of bowl. Straight faceted amber stem w/ two nickel rings between which is strung brass, bead chain. Rounded amber mouthpiece. Maroon leather case (b) w/ paper hinge and hook and eye clasp is ornamented w/ diaper pattern tooling on top and sides and marbleized paper on bottom. Lined w/ maroon velvet and linen.
