Theorum painting in two small square format, pigmy curlew (or curlew sandpiper) standing in blue puddle seen facing right in profile. Has a white underbody, brown, barred wing and tail, black eye, long, stright bill. Box, walnut (?) frame, glazed. Scalloped decoration and main forms filled in with stencil.
