Description

Steel blade (a) w/ sharpened edge marked w/ butterfly shape once on one side and 3 times on reverse. Oak rectangular handle w/ canted corner and rounded ends. Wire wrapped around handle forms a handhold. Cylindrical pine sheath encased in leather (b) stitched up one side w/ modern orange thread. Leather strap sewn in near sheath opening has a metal ring to which is attached a large loop of leather, presumably to sling over the shoulder.
