Rectangular format, floral arrangemnt with a large basket resting on a mahogany table. Orange tulips, mums and blue flowers with elaborate leaves and stems in deep green. Several prominent flowers are left unpainted (unfinished?). The paper is prepared with wax and white chalk. Delicate stripping in the center of several flowers appears to be executed in ink. Black frame with yellow stripe with original glass & backboard.
