Description

Imari type shaving basin. The deep rim of the bowl is fluted. Indented bottom with circular foot ring. Rim of bowl has red, blue, brown decoration with some gold. Glaze appears irridescent over this decoration. Bottom of bowl has squat green bowl with floral arrangement. Underside has two floral motifs. One side of rim is pierced with two holes for hanging thong and opposite edge has cutout.
