Description

Portrait of a young woman. Ochre or tan spandrel top and bottom. Deep green background. (Dark strips at side may indicate that this was once in a frame of different dimensions.) Hair is light brown and curled in a 17th cent. style. Low cut bodice w/ horizontal rows of pearls as decoration. Stomacher w/ rows of jet. Robe is red w/ fleur de lis pattern and ermine trim.
