Waisted shape. Mortar w/ embossed decoration of crude C-scrolls below flared rim and at midsection. Embossed rings at base. Simple club-like pestle. Circular lid w/ hole at ceter for pestle. Underside is molded to fit over mortar. Traces of old brown paint on lid.
