Oval bentwood form with fitted cover has a top and bottom slightly domed, top carved and incised with geometric devices while the side of the cover and box sides are carved with cross hatched squares set on corner and chip-carved triangles; the straight laps are held with basketry thongs (?) and pegs; there is a natrual finish.
