Henry Lee Higginson was a Boston banker and philanthropist. He started as a junior partner in his father's brokerage firm Lee, Higginson & Co in 1868 and worked as senior partner until his death in 1919. He is most notably remembered as the founder of the Boston Symphony Orchestra in 1881.
