Description

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and his daughter Edith Longfellow Dana stand on the steps in front of the Vassall-Craigie-Longfellow House in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The caption reads "The recent ninety-seventh anniversary of the birth of our well-beloved poet Longfellow, no doubt will cause general appreciation of this rare and interesting photograph which shows the poet and one of his daughters standing at the entrance to Craigie House."
