It has a hood with a flat projecting molded cornice over a brass and pewter dial. It is engraved with the maker's name, Roman numerals and decorated with cast metal "Cupid" patterned spandrels. They are enclosed by a door with a thumb molded edge and flanked by giet twisted columns. It is on a waisted case with a two panel thumb molded door with a circular glazed opening raised on a molded base. It is all grain-painted in shades of brown. It has brass works.
