GUSN-266829
The card verso shows the American Morse Alphabet. A handwritten note with the card attests to Williams' connection to Alexander Graham Bell and the invention of the telephone. "It was in the garret of Williams' shop that the first significant experiments on the telephone were conducted (1875-1876). The first private telephone line was erected between Williams' shop and his home in Somerville."
