In Cherished Possessions 2003-2005: This whimsical decoy stands in the front hall of Cogswell's Grant, where it looks more like an example of modern art than a hunting tool. Made of five geometric wooden pieces-which can be quickly taken apart for carrying-it nevertheless manages to look almost lifelike.
Written in pencil on the bottom is: George Martin's Carne,/Barncgat (June)? 1907. [This inscription is no longer visible]
