The desk has a rectangular top with an arched backboard and a hinged slant lid with molded edge that open to well fitted drawers and a shelf on a frame with a single long drawer, straight skirt and four baluster turned legs ending in "egg" shaped feet. It has box stretchers and is all grain-painted in brown over yellow. Brass bail handles and a lockplate.
