Framed ink and watercolor drawing of a building in Lebanon, NH bearing a sign across the front, "Lafayette Hotel." At bottom is lettered: "Kept by H.B. Benton." Mrs. Little says Moses Greenough was the innkeeper by 1810 and gave it the name of Lafayette Hotel. The printed name on strip apparently pasted over old sign of Benton Picture descended in Greenough family. Original frame and glass.
