Description

This album belonged to Miss Peabody's stepfather whose name was Eaton. Some of these portraits are of the same people as in album 81A. Most of the portraits are unidentified. An exception is a carte de visite of Josiah Quincy. Along with the portraits are a few commercial prints of flowers and leaves published by J.E. Tilton Co. of Boston. There are photographers from Utica, N.Y., and there are also photos by Hoag and Quick's Art Palace of Cincinnati, Ohio. Boston photographers represented are John Adams Whipple and Southworth & Hawes.
