Description

On the second page of the brochure, there is a caption below a line drawing that reads, "The six plates given in this Brochure are reproductions from pen drawings by Mr. Henry P. Kirby. Attention is especially called to the accompanying circular and prospectus of Mr. Kirby's 'Architectural Compositions,' now in preparation. Price of this Brochure, postpaid, 10 cents." The drawings are not labeled, and only one is dated (1883). The item also includes advertisements for American architectural building suppliers. An announcement at the back of the brochure mentions that a new special feature of "The Architectural Review" will be a department of reviews of architectural magazines.
