Description

Wooden rootstock war club, or vunikau, from Fiji, with a straight handle ending with a natural knot of polished root. Portions of the knobby head and handle are carved with incised patterns. There are two bands of contrasting braided material - one at the base of the head and one at the base of the handle. Used in close quarter combat.
