Pair of Victorian pewter camphene lamps; cylindrical toward top; bulbous below; domed upper end with short neck where a threaded disk has two brass wick tubes, tapered and flaring, on short baluster shaft; dished, circular, stepped and molded base.

Inscription

On a NFL jelly label on the underside of each is: ""Capen and/Molineaux/New York-/1848-1854"" There is a maker's mark also impressed on the bottom side of each.
