A view looking up College Street at Brown University's Front Green (University Hall's facade can be made out near the center of the photo), from the corner of Benefit Street and College Street. The side of the Providence Athenaeum appears close to the right side edge of the photograph. The lamppost has one of the street names on it - Benefit Street.
