Description

Rectangular pasteboard bandbox with lid. Box [A] and lid [B] are covered with multiple layers of block-printed wallpaper and newspaper. Uppermost layer is a white leaf and vine pattern on cinnamon ground. Interior lined with newspaper dated November 1857 and American Cosmopolitan Art Gallery painting catalogue.
