Description

Pasteboard bandbox missing bottom and lid. Box is in unraveled condition. Box covered with two layers of wallpaper. First layer is a blue column pattern. The second layer of paper is block-printed with a sixteen sided medallion with floral center pattern, also blue meandering floral stripes and fan shapes on tan ground. The interior of the box is lined with Boston newspaper dated 1837.
