Bullock, Calvin: Letter from William A. Ewing, 1862

Description

A letter describing efforts to keep General jackson from reinforcing General Johnston. The letter also discusses Huntington's Battery and restrictions on who can access liquor in the army. Calvin Bullock is the great-great grandfather of the donor and was born and raised in Royalston, Mass. He later moved to Toledo, Ohio, to work on the railroad.
