Applique and needlework rug with alternating ground blocks of taupe wool and navy blue felt. It has stylized floral and foliate scroll needlework on a applique border with flowers at each corner. The center has a large blue ground with a stylized tree-like flower at the center with balanced floral designs at either side. Including a red flower and green leaf applique and embroidered flowers. It has loose and dense curly self-fringe in brown and grey yarn. It is backed in a heavy cotton canvas, with burlap in the center.
