Four fragments of wallpaper mounted on paperboard. The paper is printed with a Landscape Figure pattern in a brown sepia-tone on off-white ground. Two pastoral scenes are visible, though the color is greatly faded and the details of the images are difficult to discern. One scene (A-B fragments) is of two shepardesses with sheep and a basket. The second scene (C-D fragments) is of two men and a woman. One man is seated, the other man stands holding a staff and the woman stands beside him holding what appears to be a basket. Above and below these scenes are smaller vignettes of a basket with musical instruments or trophies alternating with flowers in a basket. A fragment of floral border is attached along the top of fragment C. The border is block-printed in orange, brown and three greens on an off-white ground. There are shadows on the fragments indicating verticle borders once separated the scenes, as was typical for this style of wallcovering.
