Description

Wallpaper fragment. Large scale Asian style figure wallpaper featuring framed vignettes of vases. Seated children positioned around the vignettes play musical instruments or noise makers. The background imitates woven matting and the vignette framing, oriental architectural motifs. Other motifs include dragons and geisha. Block-printed in multiple greens, blues, browns, pinks, reds, and purples. Also orange, peach, cream and mustard on black ground.
