Description

Wallpaper fragment. Scenery figure paper featuring two pastoral vignettes. In the first vignette, two men seated at an outdoor table smoking as a woman serves ale. A country house is in the background with the sign "Travelers Rest." In the second vignette, a couple dances to a fiddler's tune. A thatched cottage in the background displays the sign "Goodale Sold Here." The paper is roller-printed in three greens, three blues, gray, tan, brown, purple, white, orange and yellow on light blue ground.
