Description

A large cream colored ostrich egg showing scenic hills with a bridge over water, and a sketch of a boy poling a raft and another in a small boat. A tiny pagoda is off in the background. The egg is decorated with Chinoiserie designs in reds, browns and gold leaf in japanned style. There are definite Japanese overtones to the scene.
