Description

Wallpaper border fragment from the Clapp House, Dorchester, Massachusetts. Stylized floral and foliate border with architectural motif along one edge. Block-printed in three blues, yellow, orange, tan and brown on probable tan ground. Brick red colored flock surrounds pattern and is printed with black.
