Description

A decorated ostrich egg done in line drawings in black and red in scrimshaw style. It is a multi-patterned design that shows a eagle with a banner, two sailing ships, and a coat of arms type large design with flags, a ships sails etc. The top of the egg has a morning glory design and on the bottom is a geometric star, also leaves and small stars are interspersed. There is a remnant of an old blue and red tassel attached to the top.
