Description

Partial roll and two fragments of wallpaper once part of the stock of Boston retailer A. H. Davenport. "Vine" pattern designed by William Morris. Scrolling grapevine with fruit on a background of willow leaves. Block-printed in four greens and red on metallic gold ground. Paper is embossed with a pebble texture and varnished.
