[Item identification.] Rhode Island jewelry manufacturer collection (CC009). Historic New England, Library and Archives.
This collection was processed by Susan Jarvis, 2014.
This finding aid is DACS-compliant.
This collection is from an unknown jewelry manufacturer, possibly located in Rhode Island or in Attleboro, Massachusetts. There is speculation that the dealer from whom Historic New England purchased the collection acquired it as part of the estate of Jorge Epstein, a jewelry and clothing designer. It does not appear that Epstein was affiliated with the company professionally, but a small amount of material related to Epstein is also included in the collection.
This collection is arranged in two series: I. Jewelry manufacturer records, II. Jorge Epstein papers
