Description

Fragment of unused wallpaper. Anglo-Japanese style foliate pattern. Two vines of leaves and berries, on in solid black, form an all-over foliate pattern which overlaps stylized red flowers and angular geometric forms. Pattern does not have a strong directional orientation, may have been used as a ceiling or sidewall paper. Roller-printed in yellow, red, black and dark olive on olive ground. Straight repeat.
