Description

This partially filled blank book, purchased in Boston, contains clippings and advertisements in the Art Nourveau stayle, dating from the 1890's. The owner was evidently interested in the type styles and designs of the period. A handwritten annotation refers to a book on Church Embroidery and there is a clipping at the back about Miss Sears' design for the Boston window for the Woman's Building at the World's Fair. Possibly the scrapbook was a collection of design ideas for the owner's own use.
